One monitor is white on startup.

I'm running two monitors and lately one of them is white on start up. It clears after a few minutes and a couple of on/off cycles. I checked the connections and even tested it on another PC, acts the same way. Is this a sign of a monitor about to die or should I check something else?

No they either work or don't - I think its on its way out - if it remains that way you would just have to live with it - I had a problem with lines across an older lcd I have it would clear up at about 10 mins every time just lived with it as dell would not replace it.

White is often a sign of some internal problem.

Did you use a different cable when you connected it to that other computer?
