FSPS Flight Simulator Manager - ERROR! Please help

Featured Replies

Hello guys, here's a waring:

I bought and installed FSPS Flight Simulator Manager today on my fresh installation of FSX.

It failed to connect to FSX on the first run and more to that now it gives me the following error each time when I start FSX and my flight loads:

========================================================

Runtime Error!

Program: \\(my path)\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe

R60625

- pure virtual fuction call

=================================================================

I uninstalled the program but I still got the above ERROR in FSX!!!

I opened a support ticket over at FSPS, but honestly I'm not sure if this marginal developer will bother to respond at all.

It took me last 3 days to reinstall FSX from scratch with all my add-ons and now this....

Anybody has an idea how thIs installation could damage FSX?

Much thanks,

Dirk.

If you don't hear back, try a Repair Install of FSX and Acceleration before going through the uninstall/reinstall cycle.

I heard back from the developer on the next day and they (he) responded very promptly btw. However I think I've found the cause of the error myself, so far it seems that you need to install FSM in the default path. I'll need to play more with it, most important is that my FSX works ok now.

Where can I read more about Repair install of FSX and Acceleration?

(Otherwise I'll try Google)

Thanks,

Dirk.
