Sim Savvy had lots of low resolution and problematic scenery:Alaska, Greenland, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Africa

It's a shame that there isn't any way to get them now I suppose.

High resolution photoscenery makes cross country flying relevant but what killed Sim Savvy was flight simmers build their computers with single HDD and SSDs

Photoscenery does not have the explosive compression that autogen scenery has. None of their customers had a storage solution that would work.

Some of that African scenery I've seen is absolutely surreal. Thanks HL :-)

It's the same range and basin dynamic we have in the USA, but the western states the soil and dunes have been swept away by ice age floodwaters. In Nebraska the dunes were stabilized by prarie grass.
