May 19, 201412 yr If you have the fabulous PWS scenery suites, 1-5 in your Addon Scenery Folder within FSX, you can easily migrate with a drag and drop into your Addon Scenery Folder within P3D. Then fire up P3D, and add each folder to your Scenery Lib. Then press ok at the bottom, to let it rebuild, and off to the races you go! Beautifully rendered in P3D...and because of the shadows upon terrain, mountains, the ocean, as well as the HDR treatment...P3D really brings the scene to life. If you have Orbx's Vector installed, you need to run the AEC auto tool...for airport elevation correction. You should do this after any install or removal of scenery. Have fun...and enjoy the Caribbean Islands, like you have seen before... Post Edit: Wow...ORBX vector street-lights are being REFLECTED in the ocean..as I taxi my way to docking....WOW....at Dusk...what incredible immersion! P3D just keeps showing me more, and more of the tricks up her sleeve. Put your water to Ultra on the slider, and check box all water features. Take off from a Carib (hopefully a PWS one...) airport in your amphibian like my Carenado StationAir 6 float...and then go for a cruise around any of the islands. P3D will blow you away...at Dusk....you will see the street lamps reflected in the water, as well as any scenery objects (if you have this turned on...) like the reflected hulls of static motor boats, sail boats...anything in, or near the ocean. Do a water-based landing..and taxi into any of the marina's that are in the scenery out and about the islands....P3D will stun you... What this does to make you feel you are there....is no small thing....wow! Post Edit 2: I just took off from near shore...and as I headed inland over the island...with the wing-view enabled...my gawd....the street lights illuminated my fuselage on the under wing, struts, and body of my StationAir 206, as I over-flew the highway!!!! As they receded behind me...my fuselage grew darker in the areas that held reflected light energy. How's that for immersion and life-like mimicry. A most outstanding simulator....wow..... You have to have HDR enabled for this to be enjoyed.
