Nothing against FSX But

Featured Replies

Nothing Against FSX but i tend to search for FS2004 Addons almost Every Single Day and frankly i get FSX Search Results in the Mix (This can be quite annoying considering im all about FS9) Once again This is just a tip to help us FS9'rs get Search results on Google for FS9 and FS9 only.

If you wish to make it easier to find FS9 search Results simply add this to your search  -FSX  For example if your looking for Bush scenery (as i was today) and wish to filter FSX results from showing up in google simply type the following below in the Google search bar

FS2004 Bush Scenery -FSX

(Be sure to put a space between whatever your searching for and the -fsx  This is just a way of Excluding the word FSX from the search Results.)

Doesn't this method also eliminate from your search results any addons that are for both FS9 and FSX?

Nope it simply removes FSX from the search criteria FS2004 results will show up just fine

You can also type something like this

FS2004 Bush Scenery +fs9 -fs2002 -fsx

by adding a + in front of fs9 and - in fsx

Anything you want to show up in the search results add a + and anything you wish to exclude from the search results add a -

NOTE: Its not Perfect but it does the Job (you may still see certain sites that have FSX and FS9 results but this helps B)
