Hardware Problem - Cannot set parking brake since yesterday....

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone - I've posted this over in the LM P3D Forum as well, but I'm posting here in hopes of getting an answer to an incredibly vexing problem that just started yesterday:

Starting yesterday, I cannot set the parking brake anymore on any aircraft UNLESS I disable all joysticks w/Ctrl-K. Then I can set the parking brake, BUT I still cannot set it with the Ctrl period keystroke combination. I can only set the parking brake if there is a "physical brake" to click on to set/release. With the parking brake set, if I re-enable the joysticks, it releases the parking brake and I cannot reset it. I am at my wits' end with this, as I've been working on this problem since before 5am this morning, and it's now past 2:30pm. I've gone and gotten a new Yoke & Throttle and new Rudder pedals, with the same result - cannot set the parking brake if the joysticks are enabled. I was using the Saitek Cessna Yoke/Throttle and Cessna rudder pedals before. I bought the same Cessna rudder pedals again, and the Saitek Pro Yoke System (Yoke & Throttle). Everything was working FINE until yesterday...it's NOT anymore!!!! I've played around with different sensitivity & null zone settings, with no luck.

Can someone recommend any Control settings I can try to use to resolve this problem? (It also cropped up in FSX yesterday, but I was able to solve it by unplugging and replugging the rudder pedals....didn't work with P3D!!!!)

Please help!!!
