Having decided to go for an Intel to replace my current AMD, cant decide between these two CPU's

I'm doing the same thing I'm going with the 4690K as its a lot cheaper and FSX doesn't use hyper threading so the 4770k is a waste. But I read today that the new 4790k will cost the same as the current 4770k have a better TIM and have a stock clock speed of 4ghz with a turbo of 4.4 ghz which makes me think it'll be able to be overclocked to the high 4 ghz's easily so now I'm considering the 4790k. But either way wait for devils canyon to release it'll come out on June 2nd, Also if you don't have a Intel motherboard yet get a Z97 board so you can upgrade to later intel CPU's in the future as the Z87 boards wont work with the upcoming Broadwell CPU's or any other future Intel chips. I picked up a (MSI Z97 Gaming 7) today at newegg its a great board and came with a free MSI gaming mouse for $189.

Thanks for the advice, although ive just read somewhere that the New Devils Canyon's wont be out until late September now.  Either way, if thats the case about the price, i'll wait and get one of those.  In the meantime i'll get a Mobo ready.

As of now  no one really knows, the September date is just rumor I don't see why they would hold the chips back they are basicly two year old tech with better TIM and a faster stock clock speed, Even if they are held back that just gives me more time to pick/save for better components.
