February 22, 200521 yr I haven't purchased any scenery upgrades for a while, just mesh from FSG and odds and ends to improve default scenery. If you've installed some of this AirPhoto based scenery, what do you think? Would you do it again? I purchased MegaScenery So Cal a couple years ago, and returned it as it looked too out of place versus the default stuff with autogenious installed. Anyway, what do you think now, the stuff looks very good on their site. Also, it the border zone pretty corny, between default and enhanced? Thanks for your opinion.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. February 22, 200521 yr NoelIMHO you cannot get any more realistic at the current stage of flight simulation development than using photographic scenery. The screenshots at Horizon's website show the effect of photographic scenery very well.As far as I am concerned I do about 99 per cent of my flying in the UK using VFR Photographic and VFR Terrain. Flying anywhere else for which I do not have photographic scenery is just unrealistic. But as they say, "You pays yer money and you takes yer choice".David
