May 26, 201412 yr It's great to see some payware vendors coming out with Microlights/LSA aircraft, especially since the only aircraft I've ever trained in were LSA's. Iris and Alabeo have both come out with recent releases, and I am enjoying my latest addition to my library, Iris's Jabiru. If you've ever flown an LSA they have the handling, cabin noise and other features done very well. It's definitely recommended if someone is looking for a two-seater similar to a 152, especially a high wing. I took some shots over the Arizona desert and around Colmar in France. The photoreal scenery is my own, created with FSEarthtiles. The nuclear plant in Arizona is Palo Verde, near Buckeye Arizona. My father was its inspector back in the 80's and 90's when he worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. I almost took a job there before I chose IT as a permanent career. Enjoy, John
May 27, 201412 yr i agree! i mainly fly airliners, but when I fancy some GA i like to go to the very opposite end of the spectrum from airliners; so i tend to fly microlites, and my go to plane is the IRIS Jabiru C160. I'm not as keen on the Alabeo as it dosent have so much 'feel' to me, but i do love the ants airplanes p92 eaglet. like the iris jabiru, that one is very special. great pics!
