Hello,

 

I'm new to the forums and just thought I'd post a quick greeting before pestering people for information.  I've done some flying a couple of decades ago but just haven't had the time since.  My goal is to build a system that will help me reduce the amount of dual air time (and more importantly the cost of the time) while working on my PPL.  I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but don't want to cheap out the cost of making the learning experience detrimental.  The system in the end will be a home theatre first and a flight simulator second.  Not that I want to compromise that much on the flight simulator.  More that it gives an idea of the configuration restraints I'll be working with.  If anyone has leads on previous topics of this nature or their own personal input then I'd love to hear from your experiences.

 

I look forward to participating in the community.  ( Even though I'm sure I'll be taking a lot more than I contribure for a while to come.)

Nice to meet you Ray, how is your PPL coming along?  One day I hope to start mine...if money and time will ever conspire together.
