It's not the best PC but I want to get the most I can out of it for P3D mostly.

I've been using the Asus R9 270x 2GB OC for the last 6 months and am more than happy with the increase in visual performance. I paid $A250 which is now is about $US240 just a bit of a stretch on your budget but worth it. I'm using it with an AMD A10-9600K CPU so your FX-8120 should suit.
