  1. Looking forward to using their scenery products in MSFS
  2. I’m not surprised that there aren’t any reviews out there. After all, what can anyone really say after just 4 or days other than it looks cool? A detailed review means putting the aircraft and its features through its paces so I expect a detailed review to take some time.
  3. That’s true, but with the DX10 fixer, FSX performers very well. I honestly think the two go hand in hand.
  4. The one problem with using a survey as a basis to say 32bit platforms are no longer popular is that you have to also account for users who do not have an online presence or the time to take a survey. Additionally, let’s not forget there are physical copies of FSX out there and there are people who have FSX or P3D who simply don’t buy more than 1 or 2 add-ons.
  5. One product which everyone enjoys and is rated among the best top 5 available took 7 years to develop, the fact that P3D4 was out for 2.5 years is irrelevant if you are not aware of how the XLS was developed, how long it took and when it was started. At this point, some developers may be developing a product for P3D4 and with FS2020 around the corners, should they stop development and wait for FS2020 if they are 60-70% into development to cater to a none existent market? We don’t know how things will pan out with FS2020 and the same was true when P3D4 came out. In fact, many complained about having to buy new products all over again for V4 and having to pay full price for every new version of P3D. I guess you can’t please everyone, but it’s a bit odd to fuss over the development and decisions of a developer when we have no stake in these business decisions. Additionally, the XLS P3D4 version will be out in short order so why all the fuss? No one is twisting anyone’s arm to buy the 32bit version if you are not interested. Those who are interested will buy it and until then, all we have to do is wait for the 64bit version to be released as Eaglesoft clearly stated will happen.
  6. It would be foolish for Eaglesoft to trash their plans to release a product after the development had already started and was announced for the 32 bit platform. Contrary to popular belief, there are still users of 32 bit platforms and some who may have moved to 64bit are using Xplane vs P3D. If the lack of reviews were an indication of sales, then it would mean that only a handful of websites and youtubers buy all FS products......please, some of you need to calm down. Just because users on a forum prefer P3Dv4, this doesn’t mean EVERYONE around the world has moved on. I am happy that Eaglesoft kept their promise and they have also clearly indicated for a long time now that a v4 version would be on the way. This being the case, it’s puzzling to see anyone complain about something everyone who really follows Eaglesoft is already aware of for quite some time. As for the price issue, what makes a product for P3Dv3 less valuable than P3Dv4? Some developers offer a multi platform product for one price, some offer an upgrade price and others make you pay full price all over again. The thing is, no one is right or wrong since every develop can charge what they deem as a fair value for their years of work or additional work to offer a multi Platform product.
  7. Judging from my previous experience with the Eaglesoft Citation X, when it was released it was an outstanding product with features very few developers offered. I haven’t had the opportunity to check out the XLS, but judging from the previous attention to detail I am sure it will be an amazing product. They announced this product long before P3Dv4 gained popularity so I am at least happy they simply didn’t abandon 32bit users. Truth be told, despite what polls may show, there are many people who still use 32bit simulators who do not have an online presence on various forums. Additionally, some use both 32 and 64bit. A product that cost $100+ (for a 32bit or 64bit platform) shouldn’t be all that surprising in 2019 with all of the new features that are possible.
  8. You should be able to contact them at support at Latinvfr.com
  9. Does anyone have a Silver Airways livery with a real registration number?
  10. Update - there was no change to the log after changing DebugValue to 3.
  11. Ok, I will give this suggestion a try and report back. The laptop has an AMD card.
  12. I'm using a temporary laptop at the moment and it has an integrated card. I'm guessing this might be the issue so perhaps I'll just wait for my new PC to arrive.
  13. I just gave it a try but it still doesn't work and this is all that shows up in the logs. 19/07/23 12:04:36.287 01712 - ] # rxpGTN.dll version 2.5.19.1 19/07/23 12:04:36.285 01712 INFO ] 19/07/23 12:04:37.719 01712 - ] # rxpGtnSim32.dll version 2.5.19.1 19/07/23 12:04:37.714 01712 INFO ] 19/07/23 12:07:09.266 11120 INFO ] GTN 650.1 - TRAINER 6620 19/07/23 12:07:09.870 11120 WARN ] GTN 650.1 process is running as-admin

  15. I've just tried the suggestion outlined and I've also updated to the latest version of the GTN gauge. Now, instead of being stuck at the "starting" screen, the screen remains black. The GNS gauges still work just fine however.
  16. If I may, I'd like to request these two liveries LIAT - Registation V2-LIA Caribbean Airlines - Registration 9Y-TTE (The most resent livery omits the "air jamaica" logo on the from if you are looking at google images)
  17. My FSX is working but the GTN gauge is still stuck on the black screen with "starting" shown on the lower left corner. The GNS series works perfectly.
  18. I've tried to delete the registry entry in question but this didn't have any effect.
  19. Just an update from my previous post, I was able to resolve this issue. Please disregard.
  20. I've just reinstalled the latest version of the GTN gauge and I've also reinstalled Garmin Trainers. Now I have a new issue. FSX SE won't start and I am now getting MFC80.dll , MSVCP80.dll and MSVCR80.dll errors
  21. I Can confirm that all files are located in these folders
  22. This is what my reg looks like (Default) REG_SZ (value not set) BinPath REG_SZ C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\Trainers\ Bootstrapperlocaion REG_SZ C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{0cf89a63-832f-4334-96d5-45ff0c3bfff7}\GarminTrainerSetup.exe DataPath REG_SZ C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers DBDataPath REG_SZ C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases ShortcutkeyPath REG_DWORD 0x00000001 (1)
  23. Are there significant differences with the GNS vs GTN installation process? Seems like this is specific to the GTN so with some guidance, I don't mind trying to solve the issue on my end. Are there any specific user account settings you will like me to change? I also haven't gone into the registry as yet. Norton antivirus is always disabled when installing products and no Garmin or RXP files have been flagged.
  24. No, the username doesn't have a space. This issue is quite odd because the GNS430/530 works just fine.
