  1. Folks at the end of the day, the price is what it is and this topic won't change that...many of you seem to know little about FSLabs and perhaps you should have followed the development or past product(s). Until previews are shown, no one should discredit the product and it's value. This price war happens year after year with every major release and in the end most ppl buy it anyway when they see how good it is. So just wait and then offer your comments.
  2. Is it such a crime to just have patience and save up for it if you can't afford it? The analogy of buying a car is fitting because when you want something you can't afford you save for it or stay within your means. Accessibility is important but it isn't the sole responsibility of the developer. If you want something that's out of your reach..just have patience, save and buy it. Everything doesn't always come easy because we want it to.
  3. Folks, Here is something to think about. It's easy for us to say that something isn't worth the price tag when we had very little or no role to play in producing or developing it. If time was money (as the say), then it's safe to say that none of us could afford the time and effort that was put into this product. No one is saying that you MUST buy this product the moment it comes out. If you can't afford it at the moment, why not save up for it if you can? After the release, it will always be there and you will have a greater appreciation when you pay for something you saved up for. While you save, why not take the time to look at reviews and demonstration videos to see whether you REALLY want this aircraft. From my own experience, there were many times I've been tempted to purchase an aircraft but wasn't able to for some reason or the other. Over time, after seeing reviews, I realized that I really didn't need the product and it saved me the expense. If we were to look at things another way, if you need a car and someone offers you a car that cost $50,000, you have a choice. You can decide to look for a cheaper car, or save up to buy the car being offered. This case is no different, with the only exception being that each year your car depreciates in value through use...with software this generally isn't the case. For those of you not familiar with the quality of FlightsimLabs, please review their Concorde X product since it is a product unlike any other in its class. I recall that early in the development of the A320 that the developers had set a standard that was even higher than the most demanding of flight simmers and if this is the case, you can expect a product that will match and surpass your expectations.
  4. Hi all, I was wondering if any of you talented painters would be able to make a small correction to the Jetsuite livery? The 100th Phenom 100 is really N581JS. The current registration on the livery is non existent and in fact it may belong to another aircraft type. Would any of you be able to make this correction and perhaps even offer an additional realistic registration for the Jetsuite Phenom 100?
  5. Has anyone been able to apply the Proline mods for the CJ2 to the C90GTX? The FMA is still incorrect and some of the modes such as FLC does not show accurately.
  6. Wasn't it the EX version that was updated to the v2? The older model hasn't been updated as far as I know. They just updated the EX version with the G1000.
  7. I see, But I do recall that the NDB had 2 needles before. The green and an orange Look at the second photo closely in this topic http://www.avsim.com/topic/488515-revised-ac500-interior/ Perhaps this was an error?
  8. Isn't the green needle the NDB? there were two needles before. The NDB and the VOR2
  9. For some reason with v1.1 I am not seeing the Needle for VOR2. Anyone else have this problem?
  10. All you have to tell them is that the buttons don't have clickspots when the cockpit lights are on. Tuning knob is the only thing that works. When the cockpit lighting is off, everything works as normal. I reported this to them as well.
  11. The ADF works but when the cockpit lights are on the clickspots go away in the VC.
  12. I suggest sending Carenado a report on the autopilot because they are compiling a list of bugs to be fixed in the first SP. I was told that the Autopilot has a custom coding to break away from the FSX limitations. This is why if you push the Z key or your assigned AP on/off key it won't work.
  13. Speechless....can't wait for this bird to be released!
  14. Quick question, 1. In this mod, will the FMA show ALTS in white to indicate that Altitude Select is armed when a new altitude is dialed in? 2. Will these mods work with the Hawker 850?
  15. Hi, I recently made the switch from FSX boxed version to FSX steam and when installing the G430/530, I got a message stating "The Windows Registry points to FSX Steam and Microsoft FSX in the same folder. This installation cannot continue until this is corrected" Any suggestions on properly fixing this problem?
  16. Thanks, I sent the poster a message a few days ago but no reply...
  17. Just so we are clear, this post is only about P3D not FSX-SE. The review was on P3D which is on a completely different level to FSX-SE..
  18. Caribpilot replied to a post in a topic in PC12 FSX | P3D
Just curious, has anyone been able to integrate the ISG gauges into he PC12?
  19. Hey all, does anyone have the netjets livery for the 850?
  20. Topics like these interest me quite a bit since I honestly believe that in a few years the FS market will reach a stagnant point where we basically have all the commercial airliners we would be typically interested in. Now and in the future, business jets (if done correctly) may see a significant increase in demand when everyone is bored of the typical Airbus and Boeing avionics. Flying a 747 or 777 for 8-13 hrs can be a little boring and the options for flying shorter flights are still limited if you want a high end aircraft. As for the best business jets on the market, I think everyone has summed up the fact that Carenado has the newest products...they may not be the best products, but they certainly are new in a visual sense. I have not tried the CJ2 but I have tried the Phenom 300 and it is pretty good. The G1000 actually has more features than the Flight1 Mustang but when it comes to accuracy and overall presentation, the Mustang wins hands down. As for Eaglesoft, their CX is old but quite honestly if you can put aside the dated exterior and interior model, the systems are outstanding and way ahead of their time. Perhaps the developer or a talented enthusiast should have updated the paintkit to an HD paintkit to extend its life span until v3 comes along. If I had to recommend a product tody, my personal recommendation is the Phenom 300, Citation Mustang, ES Citation X and the Flight1 Kingair. If Ray also recommends the CJ2 then it has to be good also. Ultimately, I think that this topic would be much more productive if there were more options to select from. I am hoping that ES releases the XLS this year and maybe even the 605. If Wilco also puts out the 7X and Milviz finishes up their Avanti, B350 and Learjet 60 we will truly have a wide array of options that will more than meet our expectations. For the sake of mentioning it, It would be nice to have a realistic Learjet 45 - (let's face it...no one flies the default version and it IS the best looking learjet...) Global Express - (If the G5000 is too much to simulate, why not try the Honeywell version..that should be much easier and it would finally usher in the era of long haul business jets for FS..)
  21. Anyone still doing paints for the Phenom 300? I was wondering if anyone can give the Flexjet livery a try? Photos of these registrations can be found on google. N358FX N360FX N361FX
  22. Does anyone have a livery for netjets?
  23. Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming. I will post a link to this topic in my review so everyone who is considering P3D can see what others think about it.
  24. Hi everyone, I just did a review of P3D v3 which should be posted in a few days. However, I though I would also include a few comments from current customers on their impression of P3D v3. If you were a long time FSX user or even if P3D is the first simulator you have used, I would appreciate hearing your views and I will add your comments to the review.
  25. Ray, they are only for real world aircraft but they have some very nice liveries that will look great on the Alabeo model if someone is up for the task. I had a look at the paintkit myself and I am not sure why they made it so difficult to work with.
