BSOD 116 nvlddmkm.sys

Featured Replies

And I thought I was clear of all issues as I've been error free for a month....

I booted my PC today with a black screen. I rebooted to find a BSOD with error 116 and the above file as the cause. Googling 116 seems to be related to video card.

The card is clean I just took canned air to it about a month ago, I've reseated it, all connectors are secure.

Any ideas before I proceed with an RMA from EVGA?

I know this forum has turned into a "what parts for a new PC should I pick?!" but I just RMA ed my card....

Even though the 116 is nvidia related I'm not so sure it will be remedied by a new GPU. Next is to RMA my PSU and check that. Honestly I'd like to get a new case as well because I believe there is a case front bezel grounding issue that Corsair won't admit to.
