June 8, 201411 yr And I thought I was clear of all issues as I've been error free for a month.... I booted my PC today with a black screen. I rebooted to find a BSOD with error 116 and the above file as the cause. Googling 116 seems to be related to video card. The card is clean I just took canned air to it about a month ago, I've reseated it, all connectors are secure. Any ideas before I proceed with an RMA from EVGA? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
June 10, 201411 yr Author I know this forum has turned into a "what parts for a new PC should I pick?!" but I just RMA ed my card.... Even though the 116 is nvidia related I'm not so sure it will be remedied by a new GPU. Next is to RMA my PSU and check that. Honestly I'd like to get a new case as well because I believe there is a case front bezel grounding issue that Corsair won't admit to. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
