Airport Problems...

Featured Replies

I've been installing a bunch of add-on sceneries and in the process all of a sudden I no longer have starting points at any of the airports other than the Active Runway.Does anyone know what would have caused this... and better yet, how to fix it...?Thanx in advance.Cheers...

I have seen instances where scenery developers used FS2002-based tools to build airports, then included a very bare-bones FS9 AFCAD file, with the idea that someone more familiar with AFCAD would supply the missing information. You might also have problems such as no AI aircraft, and no progressive taxi. Without the AFCAD 2.2.1 tool installed, it is difficult to troubleshoot.Unless some one else can come up with a sure fire cause.scott s..

I probably need to explain this a bit better... when I start FS and go to choose an airport to start from, my current start point allows me to pick a spot other that the Active Runway. However, the moment I choose a different airport the choices of gates, helipad's, etc. turn to just one... the Active Runway. Can one errant AFCAD really cause this...? I've been using ScanAFD to remove / rename duplicates so I'm pretty sure I only have one of each AFD file for each airport.Again, any help is appreciated.Cheers...
