March 1, 200521 yr HIFirst time ive used the forum for a while hope you can help.Aircaft sink below runway about 10 ft.Read all the previouse posts i can find, messed around afcad, and bgl. files all to no avail.Anybody got a simple solution?Regards Dave:-)
March 1, 200521 yr Hi Dave - I'm not familiar with that particular scenery, but my experience with the "sinking runways" in general had always led to a missing or wrong exclude entry in the scenery.cfg file. You might want to check and see if there are any exclude entries required and, if so, whether or not they are present and correct.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. March 2, 200521 yr Dave,I remember seeing a possible solution quite some time ago in a thread here and gave it a try..it worked pretty well too....here's what you do:Select the AFCAD2 file you want to use (I downloaded one from here and then modified it with Lee Swordys' AFCAD program; you'll find that all the parking, taxiways and runway are offset in FlightSofts' Hong Kong scenery!), save it once you're happy with it, and then copy it into your Addon Scenery folder, AND into your SceneryWorldScenery folder. For some reason, with it being in both folders, all your aircraft will now be near-enough at the correct level. There may be as couple of instances where some arrivals may be half buried, but on the whole it works OK.Hope this works for you :)
