GF-RP48 rotaries are in reverse - any fix?

Featured Replies

I have a build using all saitek products ( as I think most non-professionals do for budget reasons) running FSX but I have just purchased my first piece of Go Flight  being the GF-RP48 as I want to use two of the 4 rotary switches for rudder and aileron trims and the 8 push buttons will give good functionality for othe r things..

Having downloaded the latest config file from GoFlight I got it working without any issue but the rotary knobs work in reverse. i.e. when knob is assigned to aileron trim, turning the knob clockwise makes the plane bank to the left.. same with rudder trim. Havent tried anything else but assume it to be the same.

I am waiting on advice from Goflight tech. but has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it.

further to above... the GoFlight test kit sent to me indicates that the RP48 unit works as intended.  For those that are familiar with this, the green lights flow to the right when knobs turned clockwise and to left when knobs turned anticlockwise.. I'm assuming this means its wired ok as no instructions came with the test software. Therefore I must have some kind of conflict.. Has anyone had this issue and got it resolved.

I thought I had put in a post re solved the issue but dont see it here.... A registered version of FSUIPC easily configured the rotaries to work in the manner expected.. not sure why it could but not the Goflight config software.
