fps drop

Featured Replies

Hi all anybody else getting a heavy a hit on fps with ftx eng wales and Scotland . Global fine and Australia sp4. On average halfing my frame rate. I am on prep3dv2 graphics card overhead low and cpu not maxed out . I have an i5 4670k and gtx760 with 8gig of ram. Can fly ok but using a carrendo plane or multi monitor kills my system. Tried overclocking up to 4.2ghz no improvement . Turned off all autogen still bad . At a loss to lack of performance . My system should be well capable. Any thoughts.

Hi,

Yesterday I bought and installed FTX Engeland together with all English ORBX airports.

Also having most of US and AUS airports, including FTX Global + Vector.

The first thing I noticed that compared to US/AUS regions, my framerates in UK are about 50%-60% from what I get in the other regions,

and that also implies for the small UK airprots.

So I'm also wondering why the UK region is soo heavy on the framre rates?

Egbert

P.S. I'm running FSX

Update,

I have disabled all flows and 3D grass, and now I get descent framerates.
