Spitfire bounce thread

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what happened to the thread about the chap who was having problems landing the Real Air Spitfire? It just disappeared. Ian

Yes it did (disappear that is). I deleted it. The language used - not in accordance with our policies and the reason that it was deleted.

Yes, there was a lot of *#$#%Y%#!!!! and some $*$^^#%@@!!!!, and even #&%&%%!!!!! from the hapless, would-be Spitfire pilot guy.I've never heard such language! :)I feel sorry for him, I hope he was finally able to land without bouncing.

Look for a big jump in air traffic in the Bryce Canyon Sector today...:-)billg

:) Language (or the use of semiphores in place of it) was the primary reason, but the other was that he was bashing the product without "hearing" what anyone else was telling him. That stuck in my craw too, especially since I was only in to my third sip of coffee of the day.

yep. It got stupid...

Thus spake Tom.

Fair enough. I had posted a reply to that thread but now I'll create a new one to cover landing the Spit for those that are having difficulty with it without introducing a "this plane sucks" implication to it.James
