Saitek Multi Panel

Hi, 

I'm having a problem with my Saitek Multi Panel. This problem occurs whether I use the PMDG birds or add-ons based on a default panel (i.e PA A380). The problem is that whenever I twist the silver knob to select a value on the display, the lights that are on flash off and back on once for every virtual "Click" on the knob. Also, sometimes it turns off the lights that were on and turns on the lights that were off. 

I am using SPAD with the Saitek panel drivers uninstalled from my system. 

Has anyone encountered this issue and solved it?
