July 6, 201411 yr That's incorrect information you received. The fsuipc.dll will trap many of the g3d.dll errors but not all and it will work for both the free version and the registered version. I bought it because the author was able to pretty much fix this one annoying CTD many were getting a couple of years ago. I think the utility is worth the price but you do not need it to fix crashes or run many products. If FSX is crashing when clicking on the Menu buttons, the uiautomationcore.dll might work (proper version) but according to people I have discussed this with, it must be at least 19-20 rapid right clicks on or around the menu. A lot of people right click in the VC and that will cause the crash too. I have tried to replicate this crash several times and have never been successful. I think it is a problem with computer security. If you disable the UAC, this will allow more access to FSX files. You need to check out the AVSIM CTD Guide located to the right of any forum under Hot Spots for guidance on fixing your crash. The AVSIM CTD Forum is the right place to report your crashes and you can also search that forum for a possible solution. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
