I've been following this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUacZAVwN1I on youtube. Each time I prep my fmc Ive been running into the same problem when I want to take off from KPAE. I have no SIDS. What am I doing wrong!

It might be an error with the nav data you have installed.

 

In any case, the only SID that is currently listed for PAE is the PAINE2 SID, which is a vectored SID anyway, so there's no true need to load it into the FMC.  Just select a runway, depart on HDG SEL, vector yourself towards your first fix, line select the first fix to the top as a "direct to" and put yourself into LNAV.
