July 22, 201411 yr Hi This a Topic on the FBW and joystick recommendation for nullzone setting, simmer can share their setting for their joystick so that other simmer with the same joystick can try, if you want to talk on how to handfly with the C*U, please check this : http://forum.avsim.net/topic/447190-how-to-hand-fly-with-cu-law-aircraft/page-1 Here is my opinion on the post SP1 FBW: In Flight : the behaviour seems to be very realistic. if you are at 250 kts and trim speed is at 250 kts and go to 280kts by pushing the yoke and then release it, the aircraft will pitch up to reach the trim air speed with a phugloid phenomenon which is quite realistic. Take off / initial climb : Well I didn't trim the AC to the trim value suggested by the FCU in the perf page but was in the green band. the rotation was very smooth but after 100'RA when I released the stick the Ac start pitching down, I believe that the trim speed was at the target speed on the MCP and within 5 kts of the current airspeed of the aircraft. So thanks to the Blind trim and the AT the flight path should've been maintained which was not the case when i released the yoke. I looks like their is no auto trimming except for bank, thrust and config changes. But doesn't maintain the flight path as it is always oscillating between the trim speed value I've only done one flight yesterday, so i need to make more flight to see if I have the same issue. What do you guys think, if you have also videos regarding the FBW behaviour, feel free to post them here I'm currently using the thrustmaster TFlight Hotas X which is a very sensitive stick but good for FBW aircraft like the A320/ B777. FCU nullzone was set to default but on fsx my sensitivity are set to minimum and nullzone to 20% regards CMB Camille MOUCHEL-BLAISOT ( CMB )
