Stradale Racing Simulator

 Laminar Research creators of the X-Plane announced the release of their Stradale Racing Simulator for the mobile iPad and iPhone platforms.

The product, conceived and designed by Laminar founder Austin Meyer, was built using the same concept of Laminar’s showcase product, X-Plane 10... by utilizing real physics to model engine power, aerodynamic forces, and tire cohesion. The result is a product that is not justanother game, but rather a highly sophisticated simulation of how a race car actually behaves in a variety of weather conditions and on a variety of road surfaces.
Stradale comes as a free App on the Apple App Store with 22 separate race courses; Ultima-Loop, Freight Train, Austins-Highway, and Crazy Mouse, just to name a few, each featuring a variety of terrain, tunnels, curves, and loops. Tracks can be edited and can even be designed from scratch by the user.

There are a total of 12 cars now available for Stradale Racing Simulator. Cars can first be testdriven and then purchased from the In-App purchase option. Prices range from $.99 cents for the Tiger Shark to $11.99 for the Venom Turbo Nitro. Most cars however, are priced between $1.99 to $6.99.

For those customers who also have an Apple desktop computer or Macbook, a free App called Stradale I/O will allow the control of the simulator with a USB-connected joystick device by linking the computer to the IP address of the iPad running Stradale Racing Simulator.
