July 24, 201411 yr Is it possible to set weather conditions at the arrival airport using default fsx weather?
July 24, 201411 yr Sure, in Free Flight screen click Weather Change... then set weather to User Defined and click Customize. Navigate in the map to your destination (it's easier to find if you have a flight plan entered), then select weather stations at or near your destination airport. Make sure that Apply Weather Settings For is set to "A Specific Weather Station". There are some basic settings available to quickly set conditions, or you can click Advanced... and configure very detailed conditions using cloud, wind, visibility and temperature layers. Weather is configured at weather stations not airports so if there are no stations near your airport then you can either set the weather to be the same everywhere or just try to set weather at the nearest stations but the weather at the airport may be different. If you want the exact conditions you set for arrival you may want to change your Display -> Weather options and set "Rate at which weather changes over time" to No Change. There's a lot of documentation on weather in the FSX learning center. Barry Friedman

July 24, 201411 yr Glad to help. To be fair, most simmers don't use default weather but instead use an addon weather engine and real-world conditions, so that might explain the lack of responses. Barry Friedman
