I was thinking of upgrading my system with the above processors. I currently have to 980X overclocked to 4.4. But after looking at the specs, besides stock clock speed, my processor still has better specs than the 4790K. Has anyone made a similar jump and noticed big improvement? My processor is 4 years old and kind of find it weird it I still holding its own for being that old

I changed from the 970 to 4770K a couple of months or so back and noticed a huge difference. Not quite the same I know.....just saying.
