Questions Regarding Version And Turbulence Settings

I would like to ask if the FSX option “Disable turbulence and thermal effects on aircraft” should be really disabled. If I check the option, which means to disable fsx-made turbulence, will I still get the realistic turbulence effects during the flight if I am using Active Sky Next? If I expect wing flex, turbulence and other realistic weather effects on the aircraft, should I still check this options?

Also, the official website mentions that Hotfix 5 and B5227 Update have been released. Is the Full Version / Trial installer link provided in the download page ( http://usa4.hifisim.com/ASNext_FSX_HF5.zip) up-to-date and at version B5227 that supports pmdg 777 weather radar? I just install the exe, then open asn, the version number still seems to be B5226.
