Saitek Throttle Quadrant Missing Rubber Grommets

Featured Replies

I'm trying to figure out whether this is normal or not, but the throttle that came with my yoke has rubber grommets and the extra quadrant I bought does not have the same grommets (see pictures). This makes them not line up correctly with each other. Very disappointed in Saitek, which seems to be an increasing trend the more I deal with their products. Is the lack of grommets normal?

I just picked up a stand-alone quadrant about 2 weeks ago. It does have the rubber. Maybe look into exchanging yours for another.

Thank you for the feedback, Patrick. I visited a hardware store, and luckily found an exact match for the grommet. Information is pictured below in case anyone runs into the same problem. That said, customers shouldn't need to make adjustments like this, and Saitek gear is already notorious for needing DIY tweaks. This example of bad QC is just ridiculous though.

I would have just peeled two diagonal grommets off of one and put them on the other to make them even

Great find acquiring the grommets! I'd be sending Saitek the invoice!

Ever since Saitek was purchased by MadCatz, it seems there's been a steady increase in quality issues...
