120Hz Monitor Nvidia Inspector Half Monitor Refresh Rate Question

Hi guys

quick question, currently have a 20' monitor running at 60hz. With Nvidia inspector set at half refresh rate I need 30fps in FSX to get  smooth visuals. If I upgrade monitors to a 27' running at 120Hz does that mean I need 60 fps for a smooth experience? (Which we know isn't possible). Can anyone attest to how smooth it runs on a larger monitor? Do you still tick half refresh rate in NI?

Go for 1/4 refresh rate and it will still be smooth at 30FPS.
