August 23, 201411 yr Hi Guys, I am curently installing my FSX on my new SSD and when im installaing the FSX Acceleration, i get this error mesage "Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\....\verify09B9279AB73D96A46BA64763CAF12747.Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel" . This is a first for me. I have had no problems prior to installation on my HDD on numerous occasions. Is FSX acceleration really neccessary or can i do without it? August 23, 201411 yr Hi Gizmo05, Did you perhaps not run FSX before installing Acceleration? Acceleration assumes that certain files have been created and these files only get created once you run the simulator. The process for installing to a SSD is no different to installing to a HDD.
