My observation and Performance (incl.CDUII)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Been a while since i tried P3dv2 but today i was going to try it after a reinstall and i must say that it is getting very very good.

After the oblicatory FTX Global and OpenLCEU,PNW,NCA i installed all FSDT airports and EFHK,ENGM from Aerosoft.

i also installed CDUII by vrinsight for a certain Boeing 737-800 which was not the Ifly version. ASN running on a networked PC.

CP flight drivers (3.40) for the MCP EL but the light does not work though

Performance:

Well using stock textures (not REX4) for clouds etc i am having around 20-25 fps in this B738 as mentioned at EFHK. One tricky part is the CDUII and using undocked windows. Like in FSX there is this issue that the FPS hit is close to 20-25%. But try save a flight in P3dv2 with the CDUII in  place and fire it up (sometimes you must restart the PC) you might regain that loss. I do. My fps is back up . Anyone having a clue on this ?

Something simular in FSX where i have to resize and place the undocked window in DX9(only once the CDUII is installed) and then fire it up in DX10. No fps loss here either doing so.

The smooth feeling in p3dv2 is all the way down to 16fps so having 20 fps in the boing 737-800 is actually not bad at all.

KLAX,FSDT Gate 30: FPS 22-26 all systems running in the VC.

EFHK 22R, 26FPS in the VC

CYVR Gate 76 , 24FPS in VC

So what is your experience ?

Michael
