Where is the static Norwegian Jewel?

Featured Replies

Hi Jon,

I installed Victoria+ for PNW v8 SP1 into P3D v2.3. Fresh installation. I followed the instructions to the letter. :-) But I can not find the static version of the Norwegian Jewel.

I did install all Larry Robinson's files according to the instructions. The ship models are placed in the "SimObjects\Boats" directory. I can find the AI version of the Norwegian Pearl in the Haro Strait. From your screen shots, I would think the Jewel should be at the Ogden Point. But I don't see it.

What did I do wrong? How do we debug this?

Thanks.

James.

Sorry, my bad. I misread the instructions. The one I found is the static version of Norwegian Jewel. I should be looking for the AI version of Norwegian Pearl instead.

I think I may be setting the AI traffic too low (at 16% right now). Will try 38% as suggested in the manual.

Thanks.

James.

Success. I increased "Ship and Ferries" to 30%, and the Pearl showed up. :-)

It disappears with anything less than 30%.

Cheers,

James.

Jon, are the static ships supppose to show up in the Multiplayer mode in ogden?

I noticed when I did the update to the SP from 7 I lost the hospital , and a few landmark buildings.

Did your scenery library priority fixup solve this?  Only 1 static freighter at Ogden Point...
