cant acess system restore or start menu

Hello all

I have been trying to install an earlier nividea driver.Normally no problem.

Unfortunately this time I have made some sort of error and now cannot install ANY nvidea drivers at all even the originals from disc.

My problem now ?

My PC will only start in a low resolution mode which means no start bar or access to system restore (desperate measures)

Please!how do I get to system restore from this low resolution.

I know SR option is not always the best but I am a little desperate.

This is FS 2004 related ,because I can't open it or indeed anything bloody else .

Ok chaps!

I seem at last by the old and tried method of fiddling and twiddling till my eyes is swiveling to have got an nvidea display driver to install.

Screen resolution is now 'normal' again with access to start etc.

It would be nice to know if there IS a way to get to the start menu etc etc from safe mode or a low resolution that I was stuck with for awhile though.
