Full install of 2.3 - Use exhisting scenery?

Hi,

 

I've tried a patch of 2.2 (obeying all Rob's recommendations), and had CTDs.  I've now restored 2.2.

 

Is it ok to do a full install of 2.3, replace various scenery folders as before, then restore the backup files which Rob recommended.

 

Or is it best to do the full install, then install all addons from scratch (takes me a full week! :() 

 

A completely clean install would be good, but P3D is on its own drive, while C:\ has related stuff plus a ton of software completely unrelated!
