Hi i have been looking for a way to turn of the keyboard mode,  because  i want to use the tab key for other commands and to enter data in the FMC?

This is mentioned in the intro manual, but I believe you can click on the scratchpad to enable/disable keyboard mode.  You could also try to use a different key other than tab for whatever the other function is.

sorry for the late replay, i ve been travaling. I already found where on the CDU you can disable the use of the TAB key.
