Frustrating New Video Problem with FSX - Help!

Featured Replies

I am suddenly experiencing an issue which I have never seen before in all my years of flying FSX.  I am pretty certain it is a video display and/or driver problem as opposed to an FSX issue.  At any rate, perhaps someone can help me fix this.

The issue is simple.  FSX loads and displays just fine.  However, if I go to the menu and change anything, frame rates, turn controllers on or off, change time of day - etc., the display turns into a flickering mess, turns all black, or shows the images as big blocky squares.   There is no solution except to re-start the sim.   I have tried using both the latest NVidia driver and also the last one prior.   The problem can be reproduced with both drivers.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Kevin
