  1. Yes, I am using the P3D version of ASN.
  2. Thanks for the replies. Yes, I am aware that the radar depicts precipitation and not simply clouds. My concern that the WX radar is not working is because the "test" colors and audible message does not appear when I press test - as it did while using FSX. Thanks, Kevin MacDonald
  3. Hello All - After using PMDG 737NGX and FSX for quite a few years, I recently moved over to P3D version 3. I cannot seem to get the Weather Radar working, and to be honest, I am not sure if I am missing a step in activating same. Yes, I do have the latest version of Active Sky Next, as well as having re-purchased the latest version of PMDG's 737NGX aircraft to run with P3D. Can anyone help by reviewing what I need to do in order for the weather radar to be operational as it was in FSX? Thanks, Kevin
  4. I am suddenly experiencing an issue which I have never seen before in all my years of flying FSX. I am pretty certain it is a video display and/or driver problem as opposed to an FSX issue. At any rate, perhaps someone can help me fix this. The issue is simple. FSX loads and displays just fine. However, if I go to the menu and change anything, frame rates, turn controllers on or off, change time of day - etc., the display turns into a flickering mess, turns all black, or shows the images as big blocky squares. There is no solution except to re-start the sim. I have tried using both the latest NVidia driver and also the last one prior. The problem can be reproduced with both drivers. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks, Kevin
  5. Hello All - Can someone please tell me if it is possible, and if so, provide instructions on how to set up the RealityXP Weather Radar so it appears with the VIRTUAL COCKPIT on the PMDG 737ngx. Thanks! Kevin
  6. Hello All -I have an issue that perhaps someone may be able to provide a quick solution. Let's say I am flying the NGX and I wish to make a change to the FSX setting - such as changing the date and season. I click on the FSX menu and change the season from winter to spring. This should, based on previous experience, just take a few seconds and simply changes the griund textures. However, when flying the PMDG product, this causes the screen to go completely black and force me to shut down FSX.Any ideas? Also, while I am here - a couple other issues: I recently had to initiate the re-download service since I had to wipe my entire computer clean. I was sent the download link and the aircraft installed correctly. The first time I loaded the PMDG 737, a box opened up asking for my activation code, which I entered. The next box said that the aircraft had been successfully initiated. However, now this box opens up asking for the code every time I load the PMDG aircraft. I know this is not correct. Any ideas?ThanksKevin MacDonald
  7. Having the same frustrating problem. Can you someone tell me where to obtain this .dll so I may drop it in, and see if it cures the problem. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks,KevinSPECS:KEVIN N. 8. Any operational reason why the front passenger door will not open? I believe I parked at the gate correctly with engines shut down and all other settings as they should be, i.e. ground power, APU on, wheels chocked, etc.Perhaps I am missing something. Thanks,Kevin
  9. I have noticed that the parking brake will not stay engaged, or in other words will not hold in the engaged position. It will release by itself after a few seconds. Any ideas? Thanks.
  10. I have noticed that after a switch views, some of the toggle and other operational switches on the main and overhead panels disappear. making the function inoperational. Any ideas? Thanks,Kevin
  11. Hello All -I am having a strange issue that perhaps someone can help me solve. This issue has not occurred before, but I recently needed to re-install the Wilco 737-300 and add-on wing views, and now have the following problem. I use FS9.The wing views are accessed by using "num-lock" - holding down #5 and pressing 7,4,1 and 9,6,3 to see the various front, over wing, and rear wing views. All of these controls work fine and depict the proper view. However, when assigned to work with the CH Products Yoke, all work except the "left forward up" view which should show the trailing edge of the left wing. Instead, I see simply a "pinkish texture". This ONLY occurs on the downloaded Southwest 737-300 livery that I originally obtained from the livery list on the PIC Website. The original Wilco livery and the other liveries show this view with no problem.I find it strange that I can obtain the proper wing view by using the keypad command, but not through the assigned switch on the yoke.I have tried to locate the original livery list for the PIC 737, so I may download the Southwest livery again and see if the problem corrects itself. But, cannot locate the livery list for the 737s. Does anyone know where they ended up?This is very frustrating, so if anyone can help, I would certainly appreciate it.Best regards,Kevin
  12. Hello All -I am considering the purchase of a GoFlight MCP. However, I learned from reading a review that one cannot use this with the PMDG 737. I confirmed this with the support people at GoFlight. This presents a bit of a dilemma since the PMDG 737 is one that I fly regularly. I guess it is worth asking - is there a work around available? I understand it is due to PMDG no longer providing the driver for the MCP to work with their product.Any comments would be appreciated from those who have experienced this.Kevin
