December 11, 201114 yr I have noticed that the parking brake will not stay engaged, or in other words will not hold in the engaged position. It will release by itself after a few seconds. Any ideas? Thanks.
December 11, 201114 yr Check to see if you have a brake failure. You might have triggered a brake failure by pushing back or slewing around the airport with your chocks still in place. Very important that you remove the chocks before you move the aircraft. Paul Deemer
December 11, 201114 yr Assuming that you are using foot pedals you may want to increase the dead zone of the toe-tip potentiometers within FSX (or via FSUIPC). You problem might be caused by random noise. Regards,Axel

You problem might be caused by random noise. That's my problem, when mine starts acting up, I have to slam the brake pedals all the way down, and then try and come back off them evenly, seems to work. December 11, 201114 yr oh one other thing I forgot. Did you check the reverse box for your pedals? Be default the brakes are on in the up position which is pretty stupid. click the reverse box and then it will be normal. Paul Deemer
December 13, 201114 yr Same problem here just sitting on rnwy 08R for the tutorial 1 I have to use my pedals as a foot rest becuase it keeps jumping out of park. Cant seem to see the reverse box in the control box on FSX any help, maybe that can solve my problem.

Thanks.I have seen this issue as well since SP1b. I never had it happen before. I "wiggled" my CH pedals a little, and tried a few times, and then it stuck. Not sure if the logic changed for the brakes in the update.John - John Drago
