April 14, 200521 yr I have a problem when trying to save the flight in a cold and dark situation. I load up the default cessna, turn off the avionics, fuel, battery, then save the flight as default. Quit, and load up FS9.1 again, but the engines and everything is on? How do I get the game to always load up a cold and dark airplane no matter what craft it is? Thanks
April 14, 200521 yr Hey, Alex! Are you sure that FS9.cfg is being edited and the new flight is actually becoming the default?I had this problem where FS9.cfg doesn't always make that change, keeping my old default flight for some reason. However, I can manually do it with configurator (or hand edit), then all works well.Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
April 14, 200521 yr Try this:1. Set the flight situation you want to use for default.2. Save the flight with a name.3. Select and load the flight selecting the "use as default" box.I had the same problem when I tried to save a flight with the default box checked, but when I loaded the named flight while checking the box, the flight seemed to "take" as the default condition from then on.-Jim
