Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD Help

Recommended Posts

Hello All;

Could any of you please help me with some questions that I have:

I have just purchased the above stated SSD drive for FSX only. As I am currently waiting for it in the mail, I have a few thoughts that I'm a little unclear off:

1. I'm planning on only having the FSX folder and its contents in the new drive, all others, including my OS system will still remain on the "C" drive. Will FSX work correctly while on a separate drive?

2. Is there a migration tool that I can use to transfer the FSX folder over? Or is it better to uninstall/reinstall everything over again?

Thank you all for your help and support, it is very much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

1) Yes

2) Acronis does that but I've always preferred a fresh install (PITA I know!)
