Opinions on the 'Moach' brothers 737 1.2 package

Featured Replies

Hello All,Was just wondering if anyone had downloaded the 'Moach' 737 1.2 experience package and how does it compare to perhaps the 'kittyhawk' freeware or other freeware 737's?And, was anyone thinking of doing a Delta winglet repaint of this aircraft? The package looks interesting -- opinions of others? Thanks in advanceClayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Clayton,Get it, it's worth every penny ;-) For their first modeling effort, it's outstanding. I would say the Kittyhawk version probably has a more accurate model, but this one has a fully dynamic vc. The 2D panel is nice also. The flight model feels good, but I'm not real anal about that. It also has some nice effects. I have a few repaints in the library, with more on the way. Does Delta fly the 737-700?Cheers,Todd

Could you post the link please for the moach brothers 737?Jeff

Todd,Thanks for the info, I've dl'd the whole package and it doesn't look too bad, espicially the panel -- not sure if Delta flies the 700 or not, just like their new color scheme with winglets . .. so I'm hoping someone will do a quality repaint for this one in those colors.I have to say, there are soooo many very good quality 737 freeware projects now going on . . . its really hard to choose from.Best,Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. My only real complaints would be the model isnt as accurate as the KittyHawk and the DVC gauges and text is really blurry. But worth every penny.

is this the one that used textures lifted from my model? At least the textures compare, then...

>is this the one that used textures lifted from my model?>>At least the textures compare, then...Probably, but it's still a decent plane except for what I noted above....

Eric,I was sort of wondering that as I have been comparing it to the FFX and Kittyhawk -- taken from the AIR file: Based on Boeing 737-300 FFX/Erick CantuTextures and FDE Peter Mess 9/12/2003The panel included is rather nice, liked the flaps vortex's. Since we're both commenting on this, let me ask you: Which -- the FFX or the Kittyhawk, (or some other model of yours), do you feel is the best example of a proper flight model?Best,Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. i got it and think it's great. one thing i've noticed with the panel and a few other panels i have that seem to use the same HSI is that the GPS switch on the NAV/GPS switch doesn't seem to do anything at all. when switched to nav it will work fine but if switched to GPS nothing seems to happen. i have noticed this with all the panels i have that use the same HSI. the HSI just doesn't seem to pick up the GPS. does anyone know why this is? william
