FS Live Traffic Users Please Help

Featured Replies

Last night I bought FS Live Traffic. I am having a few slight problems that I was wondering if you all could help out with. 1) I am curious about AFCADS. I had Ultimate Traffic and am pretty sure I uninstalled it from my PC. Yet I think FSLT is using those same AFCADS. For instance, using Simflyers ORD AFCAD in the past, things seemed fine. Now with FSLT, there are planes parked in between taxiways, in buildings, ect. KORD is the airport that I know the best so I can tell when things are not correct. My real question is, what AFCAD will FSLT use? Do I need to delete all of my old AFCAD's and re-install?2) When using the different features inside the sim (tool box), is it possible to have the screens open within my flight instead of having to toggle screens? I find it annoying to go from my flight deck, hit "alt" to grab the tool box, choose the map, or flight board ect and then "alt tab" to toggle to the other menus. Are there any solutions to this? 3) Where is there documentation on adding Liveries? An example would be having Ted livery on some of the United routes. Those are the main things I can think of now. Any suggestions would be great. ThanksBrad Z.

1. Delete FSLT AFCADS for addon airports, otherwise you wil have duplicate afcads.2.You will have to run FS9 in windowed mode.OHN

I am at work right now, but FSlive has it's own AFCADS. When you open up your scenery folder you will see a new FSlive folder for AFCADS. I just deleted all of there stuff and copy and pasted the stuff from your old folder into the FSlive folder. Keep your old folder though and move it to the desktop or burn it to a CD. I had both folders with tons of AFCAD stuff in each and I found that areas like Los Angeles where there is alot of traffic FS seems to try to load every AFCAD and determine which one to use. So keep all the data in the FSlive folder and backup the other in case you go back to UT or something else.As far as question #2, can't answer that. I don't really use that there tool stuff inside FS.#3. I agree that the documentation is limited a bit and I have not tried to add any liveries, all though I did hear a TED callsign the other night but I am not sure if it was a United Livery or a Ted livery. THe best thing to do in regards about questions is email them, they respond back very quick. Don't use the online form use there email address, or you can call them. Let me know what you find out, I think you will be very happy with FSlive though. I sure am.
