Shadows cutting out at dusk

Recommended Posts

Guest tymk

Hi,

I've been wondering if it's possible to force/cheat FSX to display shadows at/after dusk, or is it a hard-coded "switch" that flips between day and night? One great thing about P3D2 is that it generates shadows at all times of day, while FSX stops a few minutes after dusk.

Thanks Steve, I was afraid this might be the case. Well, I'm not going to complain, the improvements are great, especially with the last CFG tweak that gives me shadows in the old RealAir planes.

BTW, if I may ask here without opening another thread... If I manually delete the "Shaders10" folder due to some other experiments I'm doing, do I need to run the Fixer afterwards so that the shaders are rebuilt correctly (with the Fixer's fixes )?
