April 22, 200521 yr I just loaded Chris Wright autostar pgm.I see no changes in the sky. I followed the procedure and checked the circles and labels. NOTHING.The star.dat file is modified accordingly to the number of stars (using real stars or not). So the path looks correct. The star_base.dat is also in the FS9 library.I reviewed the FS configurator, the FSUIPC and Active Sky to see if any options was out of line. Nothing. The autostar folder is in Program Files. The path to FS9 is correctly stipulated in the autostar pgm (c:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9). The proof is that star.dat file is modified when executing autostar. So what is wrong ?Roger:-( Roger See my specs in my profile

April 23, 200521 yr Hi Roger, Glad to hear it's working okay now. To tell you the truth I'm not sure exactly what the constellation setting does. But mine is set to zero and it works fine so that may not be why it works. Quite possibly if you change it back to zero it'll still work - maybe.... Anyway, if it works that's all that matters! Best regards, Chris
April 24, 200521 yr Author Chris,I cannot exclude that I failed to see the difference from the start.WhenI went into 50% view or even less than it became really apparent that the intallation was correct. So probably my fault for not seeing it sooner.Roger :-( Roger See my specs in my profile
