Visibility drops to 0 on approach

I made sure  both airports were set and checked the report and visibility was over 9000 meters, however each time I approach an airport my the weather outside drops to 0 visibility no matter what the weather is out side.  If I keep forcing an update on the weather eventually I can make it go away, however it takes some time.  Any assistance would be appreciated as this is frustrating.  I am running FSX.

Were you flying into a Low Overcast Effect? Most likely was. If you do not want this feature then disable it in the Weather Preferences.
