November 19, 201411 yr Hi, How do I set the cc to return to a particular position it has taken me to arrange. When I press the space bar the view zooms right in and I can hardly see any of the panel. I would like to set a position in my cv and then have a button that when pressed, takes me back to my set view after I have panned around the vc. Cheers

November 21, 201411 yr Hi. The start position of your eyes in the VC can be set by editing a section of the aircraft.cfg file for that plane. Make a backup of it before you start changing things, and put the backup somewhere you won't edit it by accident. Open aircraft.cfg with notepad and find the section called [Views] [Views] //eyepoint={+fore & -aft}, {-port & +starboard}, {+up & -down} eyepoint=2.50, -1.05, 4.35 // or whatever values suit your cockpit Change existing values by a small amount - I think the numbers are in feet so an inch works out as 0.08. As little as half an inch can make a difference vertically, and maybe a couple of inches fore & aft. How far you want to change things will depend on whether you'd rather see more scenery or more gauges. I think the space-bar is set by default to return the VC view to straight-ahead from the point set by the aircraft.cfg file so once you've set the default eyepoint that's where your view will return to each time you press it. As for the zoom and the head-tilt, I drew a blank but would certainly like to know if it's possible to include them in the start position. Regards, Dave
