Hi,I'm interested in this product, but I'm wondering if anyone has it already and if you can answer come questions.Can I use my own planes and Airline? For example, can I use PSS Airbus, RFPB 747, and fly for Lufthansa? Will it have the real Lufthansa schedule, etc.?From what I have read, it's not clear to me if I can do this. I don't have it for the same reason as you, from what I read you can only fly the included Dash 8 and default boeings with it. I'd wait for FS Passengers as it looks like it will do a similar role but allow for any addon planes www.fspassengers.com

I have it and love it.You can use any plane you want. It comes with and airplane import tool. You can also fly for whomever you want.It will not have the real Lufthansa schedule. It starts you out flying regional flights from where ever you pick as your home base region. Then it assigns you a different flight every time you use it. Flights and the aircraft your assigned are based on you pilot ranking.FS Passengers is not the same as Airliner Pilot.FS Passengers is more about running and owning an airline company. I was interested too, but 56$ :-eek , nah that demo didnt impress me to pay that much. Why does the download version cost 12$ more than the boxed version, they are identical, so it doesnt make any sense to me.

My suggestion is subscribe to a Lufthansa VA and get FS Passengers when available. For less than 40 US$ you'll be able to fly any aircraft and you'll pick a flight from the VA tables. :D

I'm STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! ARGG!!I paid for it and downloaded it.. I was excited until I flew my first flight.The Lufthansa Dash 8 included looked horrible. I could not even read the writing on the side of the plane. The system was ok but just not worth the money. It forces clear weather for the first bunch of flights, then apparently forces progressively "worse" weather as you progress..So real weather is out of the question. The game launches FS9 and (I assumed) with the correct fuel load. I was 10 minutes into my flight when I ran out of fuel (my fault of course but I didn't expect it)...During my approach, I had winds that blew my little Dash 8 off the runway (landed with the right landing gear in the grass).. but landed just fine, and the system told me I crashed because I didn't land on the runway.. fired me.. and my career was over lol..Ooookaaayyy..sorry if I seem like a disgruntled employee :)... I am just a little let down.. I don't want to be unfair to the product.. so I'll just say that this is one that won't stay on my hard drive.. :)JeffI should have waited for FSpassengers to come out.
