CYVR Nigels add-on scenery problem!

Featured Replies

I seem to be running into a problem with the CYVR add-on scenery by Nigel. It seems as if FS9 doesn't want to see the afcad2 file. When I load up flight sim, I can only select a few gates which look like the game is using the default afcad. How can I fix this? I have everything in the correct location, and am trying the add-on afcad and scenery to it and it still doesn't work....I run scanafcad and the only duplicates it picks up are the taxi-way signs... ????Help! Thank you

Hi AlexSorry to hear that you are having trouble with my CYVR, I presume it is version 4.1? I have not heard of this problem before other than I tried Chris Macgillivary's addon for CYVR which caused this. Are you using his addon, if so delete it, it causes many problems at CYVR including the one you described. In fact it became so problematical, I had to have his CYVR files removed from this site and FlightSim.Nigel

Yep that is the extra add-on that I was using! Good to know it wasn't something I did wrong. I will get rid of his files and just use your great scenery. Thanks!By the way, the files aren't removed, cyvr4rwyaf2_160503.zip is here in the library and that is what I downloaded ontop of your scenery which caused the issue.

Howdy(Where the heck can I find CYVR version 4.1 ?)Never mind, I found it !ThanksSteve

yes, CYVR 4.1 is a must have, especially when, like me, it's your home airport. Can't get better than taking off from 26L and turning right 180 degrees and flying over downtown as you're ascending. Wonderful!billg
