December 3, 201411 yr A couple of years ago, I tried some RAM-cleaners, but the best I found still made my sim glitch and stutter, or even caused CTDs. This weekend, I came across a RAM-cleaner review, which said that Cleanmem works different from other RAM-cleaners, so I thought to give it a go. I've been testing all day, yesterday, and it seems to work very well and my RAM use has never been lower, but when googling for use with flightsims, I didnt find anything at all, what makes me think there's still a catch. If this works as well as it looks so far, I cant really believe that this isnt widely used among flightsimmer, so I'm actually waiting for the 'big boom' to appear and mess up my sim. Does anyone have any experience with Cleanmem, who can tell me why this little program isnt used for flightsimming? Cheers! Maarten
