You might want to check with the supplier to be sure, but I don't think that monitor has an HDMI input. Hence, no HDMI cable needed. It comes with the standard D-Sub cable.

It doesn't come with an HDMI cable as I'm sure most monitors don't however it will most likely be the best way to use the monitor so you will need one.

 

I am sure it comes with an HDMI input , find the model number than check it on the LG site.
