May 11, 200521 yr For anyone flying at this hour, there is a great "soup" at Denver International. Ceiling 300 ft and visibility at 1/4 mile. I was able to see the runway just barely at minimums. There is also a 16 knot cross wind. With Active Sky it was truly wonderful. If you have the chance I would recommend this flight.
May 11, 200521 yr Thanks for the pointer. I loaded up AS with FE and it looks great. That is one thick Rocky Mountain soup!CheersDan:-)
May 11, 200521 yr hehe, last nite at KOXB there was only a 100ft ceiling in heavy fog and 1/2 mile vis, plus no glideslope...only a localizer approach or gps...and it was dark!...i have to admit im out of practice doing approaches down to minimums (almost beyond minimums) and had to go-around on my first try...was very tricky.Dave Kalin Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
